QAHE is recruiting for the role of Programme Leader for the Ulster University MSc International Business Programme. As Programme Leader, you will have overall responsibility for leading and managing academic delivery of the MSc International Business programme in partnership with Ulster University. You will ensure compliance with academic standards, high quality student experience and building a high calibre academic programme/s team

Key responsibilities (please click through to read the job description in full)

To support the effective delivery of the management of a postgraduate degree programmes at the research/dissertation phase

To co-ordinate and plan delivery of the year of the programme being delivered

To act as the first point of contact for academic queries regarding the dissertation/research phase of postgraduate programme

To contribute to management of the academic and operational relationship with the university on a day-to-day basis

To implement the University’s academic and quality assurance policies and procedures, to be accountable for academic standards

To monitor and review student achievement/progression and implement additional support mechanisms as appropriate.

To improve established and develop learning and teaching approaches to support student achievement and experience.

To teach on modules as appropriate, as well as taking module leadership where required

To support less experienced lecturers when needed as directed by Academic Managers

Fair allocation and coordination of dissertation/project supervisors

To liaise with a team of Lecturers regarding delivery, assessment, marking and management of undergraduate dissertations and research projects

Develop policy and procedure to enhance the process and experience of staff and students. 

Support the mentoring and development of the faculty

Must have's

Relevant academic programme management experience – Essential.

Doctorate Degree (or close to completion)- Desirable 

HEA Fellowship – desirable
