You’ll be responsible for supporting learner enquires via email and phone and ensuring relevant learner support is of an acceptable level to be determined as Ofsted outstanding. You will provide support staff and take responsibility for day to day operation of learner communications and provide professional guidance regarding all types of learner enquiry ensuring all learners receive the highest quality of support.
Role Responsibilities:
- Comply with all regulatory requirements attached to Apprenticeship Learning.
- Create and evolve learner services content, (support information), including safeguarding for those on programme
- Establish community involvement ties.
- Create and implement community or/and additional offers for learners to participate in activities.
- Make referrals to external welfare organisations and/or emergency services in response to critical learner needs
- Manage additional support for learners and provide a record of activity.
- Develop, deliver and improve QA’s Information Advice & Guidance (IAG) provision.
- Develop and maintain learner services processes and in-house systems for documenting information and interaction with learners
- Support functional skills training for apprentices on programme as required
- Carry out 1-2-1 discussions with learners who require assistance form the learner services Safeguarding team
- Ensure that all aspects of Learner Services and Safeguarding is delivered in accordance with the key processes contained within the organisation’s Process Manual.
Your Experience/Skills:
- Extensive experience of working with young people in an education and careers role.
- Previous experience and qualified to deliver careers advice and IAG.
- Experience of working collaboratively with partners through industry relationships.
