Dissertation Coordinator (Undergraduate) Location: London, Birmingham, or Manchester & Hybrid I am really pleased to tell you about a QAHE internal opportunity now open for application. This is a replacement role after our previous Dissertation Coordinator, Rameen Niamat, was promoted internally to her new role with Ulster. As Dissertation Coordinator (Undergraduate), you will be responsible for supporting the Programme Leader, Deputy Programme Leader, and Associate Dean (Solent Partnership) in the coordination and planning of the dissertation/final major project for the Business faculty. You will ensure University academic standards are met and demonstrate leadership and support as a senior member of the faculty. Key responsibilities (please click through to read the job description in full): Coordinate and plan delivery of the dissertation phase of undergraduate programmes. Act as the first point of contact for academic queries regarding dissertations. Monitor student achievement and progression, implementing support mechanisms. Lead module delivery and support less experienced lecturers. Liaise with supervisors and maintain VLE sites related to dissertations. Develop policies and procedures to enhance the dissertation experience. Must have's: Significant experience supervising undergraduate dissertations and business projects. Strong understanding of university policies, QAA Quality Code, and academic standards. Undergraduate degree essential; Master’s and PGCE/HEA membership desirable. Experience in lecturing at Level 6 in the HE sector. Confident, well-organised, and able to mentor and coach others.
