You and the team will be the face of the People Team. You’ll be responsible for leading the team in supporting people through the moments that matter during the employee life cycle. As the People Operations Manager, you will lead on continual process improvement with a keen eye for compliance matters relating to data protection, right to work, immigration, sponsorship and DBS checks. Ensure the business remains compliant with its legal requirement for DBS checks, right to work and immigration and all related administration processes are defined and adhered to through regular reporting and monitoring. Manage the visa application process for staff, including issuing certificates of Sponsorship (CoS), ensuring the manager and applicant are kept up to date with progress. You will have a proven track record of partnering with senior leadership to align people strategy with business goals, enhance employee experience, and lead change management across diverse functions. Adept at navigating complex organisational structures, implementing performance and engagement frameworks, and fostering inclusive workplace cultures.  Role Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with leaders to understand and analyse people challenges, and develop commercially focused People plans to maximise employee engagement and organisational sustainability • Manage complex employee relations issues, mediating and resolving conflict when necessary • Lead on the people aspects of business transformation and change initiatives, ensuring effective organisational design and modes of working Identify gaps in internal capabilities and performance and build strategic recruitment and development plans to achieve desired business results • Oversee effective implementation of all annual cycle events working with the People Operations, Talent and Experience team • Project manage key People initiatives alongside the People Experience Managers • Advise and coach leaders and managers on People policies & practices and interpersonal skills • Champion organisation values and culture ensuring they are clearly communicated and contribute to a positive work environment • Flexibility - some travel to other sites within the UK will be required Your Experience/Skills: • Many successes in delivering stated business objectives through effective business partnering • Managing multiple stakeholders, sometimes with conflicting agendas, and facilitating teams to deliver group objectives • Sound talent management and workforce planning experience • Exposure to TUPE and post-close integration activity would be advantageous • Experience across multiple organisations with some blue-chip exposure in recent past • Generalist knowledge base, with strengths in change and/or talent management • In depth working knowledge of current employment law
